Trick Daddy Calls Women 35+ “Damaged Goods” — The Internet Reads Him for Filth

Leave it to Trick Daddy to hop on a mic and stir up an online firestorm. During a recent podcast appearance, the Miami rapper-turned-TV personality decided to share his unsolicited take on women over 35, labeling them “damaged goods.” His reasoning? According to him, women in that age bracket come with “too much baggage” for men to deal with.

Cue the internet’s collective eye roll.

Within minutes, social media timelines lit up like the 4th of July. Twitter (or X, if you’re feeling corporate) had users firing off clapbacks, with some questioning why Trick Daddy was so invested in policing grown women’s worth. One commenter wrote, “Sir… your beard looks like it’s sponsored by Parmesan cheese. Worry about that first.” Ouch.

Others pointed out the double standard: men can be 50+, divorced twice, with a trail of exes and kids, yet still expect to date 21-year-olds. Meanwhile, women over 35 are labeled “damaged” simply for living life? Please.

There were also more thoughtful responses. Some women shared that by 35, they’re more confident, financially secure, and emotionally mature than ever before — and if that’s “damaged,” then maybe “damaged” is exactly what some men can’t handle.

Of course, Trick Daddy has never shied away from controversy. He’s built a career on blunt, sometimes messy commentary. But in 2025, when conversations about ageism, sexism, and respect are louder than ever, comments like this are bound to backfire.

The lesson? If you’re going to talk about women’s value, especially to an audience that’s more than ready to fact-check and drag, you better come correct — or be prepared to trend for all the wrong reasons.
