Chasing Dallas: Same Drama, New Episode—But Who’s Really Winning?”

Chasing Dallas: Same Drama, New Episode—But Who’s Really Winning?”

Let me sip this tea real slow because y’all... Chasing Dallas done tried it again—and not in a good way. If you've watched any of the past five seasons, congratulations, you’ve basically already seen Season 6. Same tired storylines, same circle of folks fighting over brunch, bad wigs, businesses that barely launched, and dreams that stay stuck on the vision board. At this point, I'm not sure if I’m watching a reality show or just a group text thread with too much time and camera access.

Let’s break it down.

The Fights: It seems like every episode must include at least one verbal smackdown over who said what on Instagram Live or who didn’t show up to the pop-up shop that never popped off. And don't get me started on how these “friends” turn into foes faster than a Wi-Fi signal in a basement. The cast has made fighting a full-time job, but unfortunately, the paycheck ain't reflecting that.

The Businesses (or lack thereof):
Baby, I’ve seen more progress from a toddler learning to walk than from these “brands.” How are you on Season 6 and still “launching” a t-shirt line? Still promoting that same tired product from Season 2 with a new logo and no LLC? Make it make sense. You can’t argue about being booked and busy when your website still says “Coming Soon.”

The Energy: It’s messy—like expired milk messy. But here’s the problem: it’s not even fun mess. It’s stressful. Watching this show now feels like being trapped at a family reunion with relatives who don’t like each other but keep showing up for the free food and fake hugs. Exhausting.

The Boredom: Let’s be real—some episodes feel like they were edited with a butter knife. Long awkward pauses, the same scenes dragged out for drama that never lands, and storylines that go absolutely nowhere. We waited five episodes to find out who threw a drink at the kickback and it was… nobody? Girl.

The Real Tea: Somebody better be getting paid off this because the audacity is what’s truly being served. Chasing what? Fame? Followers? Fantasies? If that’s the dream, wake up. I hope someone on the production team is at least making enough to buy a ring light that doesn’t flicker.

Final Word: At this point, Chasing Dallas needs a miracle, a prayer circle, and a cast reboot with people who actually want more than mess for camera time. If the show’s title is about chasing something, I hope next season they chase growth, purpose, and some real coins. Because right now? It's giving tired, it's giving recycled, it's giving—girl, we’re done.

Fix it, Lord. Or at least give us a new city to chase in.
