From W.G.S. to Riches: New Faces, New Drama, Same Old Mess – And I’m Here for It

: From W.G.S. to Riches: New Faces, New Drama, Same Old Mess – And I’m Here for It

Whew, chile... I thought I had seen it all with the past seasons of W.G.S. to Riches on Netflix — but baby, this new season said, “Hold my mimosa.”

First of all, let’s talk about it: the old crew? Gone. The new ladies? READY TO FIGHT (and floss) like it’s a sport! We traded in emotional breakdowns over brunch for full-blown shade grenades before the appetizers even hit the table. Growth? Maybe. Entertainment? Absolutely.

The new season kicked off like somebody owed somebody money — no warm welcomes, no fake hugs, just side-eyes and confessionals full of “Who is this chick?” energy. Half these ladies walked into their first group event like they were already three seasons deep and two scandals in. Bold. Questionable. Messy? My kind of party.

The cast upgrades:

You got Miss "I'm building a brand" who can barely build a storyline.

Miss "I only date millionaires" but can’t seem to cash in her own checks.

And of course, the "I'm above the drama" girl who somehow ends up in every single argument by episode two. (Classic!)

Oh, and let’s not forget the messy friend of the group who keeps popping up just to whisper shady secrets and light matches behind the scenes like it’s her side hustle.

The Storylines?
Baby, they pulled out the dollar store glitter and tried to polish some tired plots. Someone’s "luxury business" is falling apart, someone's man is allegedly for the streets (and maybe the neighbor's street too), and another one is fighting over — wait for it — event invites. Sis, if you need an invitation that bad, come grab a folding chair and a Capri Sun, because it’s not that deep.

The Drama?
SCREAMING.
These ladies argue like they’re auditioning for an Emmy and a restraining order at the same time. At one point, somebody got so heated she almost threw her cocktail... and you could literally see the producer off-screen nodding like, "Yup, we got our trailer moment."

The Fashion?
Mmm... Bless their hearts.
You can tell some of them spent their entire appearance check at Fashion Nova and a prayer circle. I love a girl who tries, but when your outfit rips before you even sit down, maybe rethink the look, boo.

Final Verdict:
If you loved the old seasons of W.G.S. to Riches, you might clutch your pearls with this new crew. It’s bigger, louder, pettier — and honestly, it’s exactly the messy Netflix chaos I needed in my life.
It’s giving “dream it, scheme it, stream it.”

Grab your popcorn, pour some tea, and get ready because these ladies didn't come to build bridges — they came to burn ‘em and dance on the ashes.

Rating:
10/10 for the drama.
0/10 for maturity.
1000/10 for giving me life!
