Next Gen NYC Drama: Ava the New Villain? Birds, Bus Fights & Business Shade!

Next Gen NYC Drama: Ava the New Villain? Birds, Bus Fights & Business Shade!

Oh, so this is how we’re doing it in Next Gen NYC now? The girlies came to fight with their mics on, edges slicked back, and reputations ready to be dragged!

Let’s get into the boardroom beef first. Ava threw a shady little jab at Ariana about starting a business, and baby, it wasn’t giving constructive criticism—it was giving high-key hater. The tone? Drenched in sarcasm. The energy? Ice cold. Ava hit Ariana with the "oh you’re starting a business?" like she was surprised Ariana could even spell LLC. Mind you, Ava just walked in the door but already got her villain heels on. Is she officially snatching the title from Charlie? Because sis came in swinging with shade and receipts, and let’s be real… her and Charlie are tight. So of course, birds of a messy feather… FLOCK.

But let’s not skip past Pierre—because Pierre quietly observes, but we see you, boo. Every time drama bubbles, somehow Pierre is in the confessional with the side-eye and the “I don’t get involved” voice. Sir, you are involved! Don’t act brand new.

Now let’s talk Brooke and his family. Is it just me or is something being quietly filmed on the side? Mama showed up camera-ready, daddy giving composed chaos, and there’s more screen time for them than for some of the main cast. Somebody whisper “spinoff” louder cause I smell Bravo paperwork.

Then there's Riley… bless her persistent heart. She’s still cornering Charlie about that party bus moment like it’s an HR case. Girl, he’s not sorry, he won’t say sorry, and if he does, it’s gonna come with a clause and an attitude. Move on. This is reality TV—not couple’s therapy.

And let’s address what had the timeline lit. An influencer (I can't remember her name either but y’all know who I’m talkin’ about) spilled the tea that Ava had the nerve to make a nasty comment about Ariana’s you-know-what the same day they met?! WHO does that?! You don’t get to shade someone’s entire body part when you just learned their name 5 minutes ago. That’s not just shady—that’s dark and musty. And for what? Attention? Camera time? A peach in the mail?

Ava may be new, but she’s already deep in the group chat, stirring the pot and lighting fires. We see you girl. Charlie might’ve passed the villain baton, but trust, he’s still running beside her. These new friendships? Convenient and calculated.

So here’s what we need to watch for next:

  • Will Ariana clap back with a read or just boss up with her business?
  • Is Brooke’s family the next big thing?
  • Will Riley let Charlie go or keep chasing closure on national TV?
  • And most importantly… how far will Ava go to stay in the spotlight?

Whew. Next Gen NYC isn’t even halfway through the season and it’s already giving chaos, shade, and secrets. Just how we like it. 🍿
