There are certain songs you almost don’t touch because somebody has already delivered a version so unforgettable that fans immediately start comparing anybody else who sings it.
And then you have “Guess Who I Saw Today.”
Nancy Wilson made this song one of those performances that demands attention. Her elegant phrasing, storytelling, emotion and that quiet sophistication made the song feel like we were sitting right there listening to somebody tell us some serious relationship tea.

Freda Payne reminds us why she deserves to be remembered as much more than the singer of one or two famous hits.
Freda has always had personality in her voice.
