Josh From Put a Ring on It: The Cheathab Interview From HELL — Bad Sound, Tough Questions & Then the Guest Was GONE! 😳🎀πŸ”₯

Josh From Put a Ring on It: The Cheathab Interview From HELL — Bad Sound, Tough Questions & Then the Guest Was GONE! 😳🎀πŸ”₯

Chileeeee! Grab your snacks, turn your volume ALL the way up, and make sure your Wi-Fi bill has been paid because this interview had me stressed! πŸ˜‚

Josh from Put a Ring on It: Cheathab sat down for an interview that had the potential to give us some real tea. I was ready for answers. I was ready for behind-the-scenes stories. I was ready for a little mess.

Instead?

We got an interview from HELL!

The sound was acting crazy, some of the questions weren't getting clear answers, and before you knew it, it felt like we had LOST THE GUEST!

Baby, what happened?!

First of All… THE SOUND! 🎀😭

Can we talk about the audio?

Because I was trying to listen to this interview like I was investigating a cold case.

One minute I could hear what was happening, and the next minute I was wondering if somebody had accidentally put the microphone in another room.

I was turning my volume up.

Then down.

Then back up.

I almost put my phone against my ear like somebody's grandmother listening to a voicemail. πŸ˜‚

And that's unfortunate because when you're interviewing somebody viewers actually want to hear from, the audio has to cooperate.

You can survive questionable lighting.

You can survive an awkward camera angle.

You can even survive somebody forgetting to look into the camera.

But bad sound?

BABY!

That's when the audience starts fighting for its life.

Then Came the Questions… πŸ‘€

Now this is where things got interesting.

There were questions being asked, but some answers just weren't giving me what I needed.

You know that feeling when you're watching an interview and you're waiting for the guest to finally spill the tea?

You're sitting there thinking:

"Okay… HERE IT COMES!"

And then…

Nothing.

Chile, I wanted DETAILS.

I wanted stories.

I wanted context.

I wanted the kind of answers that make you sit up in your chair and say:

"WAIT A MINUTE! Run that back!"

Instead, there were moments where the conversation felt like it couldn't quite get where it needed to go.

And that's what made the whole thing even more chaotic.

Was Josh uncomfortable?

Was there confusion?

Were the questions too difficult to answer on the spot?

Was the technical situation throwing everybody off?

I don't know.

And that's exactly the problem.

The interview left me with MORE QUESTIONS.

And Then… WHERE DID THE GUEST GO?! πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

This was the moment that took me OUT.

It felt like we LOST THE GUEST.

Excuse me?!

We had questions!

We had unfinished business!

You cannot have me sitting here waiting on the tea and then suddenly the teapot disappears from the kitchen!

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I was looking at the screen thinking:

"Josh? JOSH?! Come back! We ain't finished!"

Whether it was technical trouble, a connection issue, timing, or something else, the moment made an already unpredictable interview feel even messier.

And I'm sorry, but as a reality-TV fan, that's the kind of accidental chaos that sometimes becomes more entertaining than the planned interview.

You start out watching for the guest.

Then you're watching to see if the interview itself is going to survive.

But Let Me Give Credit Where It's Due

Here's the thing: interviewing somebody LIVE or online is not easy.

People think you just turn on a camera, ask five questions and call it a day.

NOPE.

You have to worry about microphones, internet connections, lighting, cameras, timing, questions, follow-ups and making sure your guest can actually hear you.

And when ONE thing goes wrong?

Everything can start falling apart.

So while I'm having some fun with this interview, I can also understand how quickly a conversation can go sideways when technology decides it wants to become a cast member.

And technology was definitely auditioning for a starring role here!

Josh, We Need a ROUND TWO! 🎀πŸ”₯

That's my solution.

Forget pretending everything went perfectly.

Give us another interview!

Call it:

JOSH: THE REDEMPTION INTERVIEW.

Fix the microphones.

Test the internet.

Get Josh comfortable.

Have the questions ready.

And THEN let's talk!

Because I still want to hear what Josh has to say.

That's what makes this so frustrating.

There was potential here.

I wanted more from the conversation because Josh is somebody viewers may genuinely want to hear from beyond what they've seen on Put a Ring on It: Cheathab.

Reality television only gives us part of someone's story.

An interview gives that person an opportunity to explain themselves without dramatic editing, reaction shots and suspenseful music telling us how we're supposed to feel.

That's why I wanted this conversation to work!

The Messiest Part?

The interview itself became the story.

That's never what you expect.

You go into an interview thinking the big headline will come from something the guest says.

Instead, I'm sitting here talking about the sound, the unanswered questions and wondering where the guest went.

Chile!

The production said:

"Forget the tea. WE ARE THE TEA."

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

And somewhere, somebody's Wi-Fi router needs to issue a public apology.

FINAL VERDICT ☕πŸ”₯

Was this the smoothest interview I've ever watched?

Absolutely not.

Was I entertained by the chaos?

I cannot lie — YES.

It was awkward.

It was confusing.

It was messy.

And at times, it was unintentionally hilarious.

But I don't think this should be the end of the conversation.

I want Josh back for ROUND TWO.

Better sound.

Better connection.

More follow-up questions.

And most importantly…

DON'T LOSE THE GUEST THIS TIME! πŸ˜‚

Now I want to hear from YOU.

Did you watch the Josh interview?

Could you hear everything clearly?

Were there questions you wanted Josh to answer?

And should there be a second interview so we can finally get the conversation we were waiting for?

Drop your opinion in the comments!

And if you love reality-TV reviews, interviews, gossip, funny commentary and a little harmless shade, make sure you subscribe, share, comment and come back for more.

Because around here, sometimes the reality show isn't even the messiest part.

Sometimes it's the interview AFTER the show! ☕πŸ˜‚πŸ”₯

Morgan Stewart and Dorothy Wang’s Wedding: Where Was Morgan? πŸ‘€πŸ’☕

Morgan Stewart and Dorothy Wang’s Wedding: Where Was Morgan? πŸ‘€πŸ’☕

Okay, now I have ANOTHER question about Dorothy Wang’s wedding.

MORGAN STEWART?!

Where was Morgan?!

Because the more I think about Dorothy Wang’s wedding and all these old Rich Kids of Beverly Hills friendships, the more questions I have.

We already talked about EJ Johnson not appearing to be part of the wedding festivities. But Morgan Stewart is another name that immediately comes to mind because Morgan and Dorothy go WAY back.

If you watched Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, you remember the era.

Dorothy Wang.

Morgan Stewart.

EJ Johnson.

Champagne.

Designer clothes.

Expensive vacations.

Arguments over things most of us couldn't afford to argue about.

πŸ˜‚

They gave us some CLASSIC reality television.

So naturally, when Dorothy gets married, longtime fans start looking around asking:

Where are the Rich Kids?!

Dorothy's Wedding Guest List Has Me Investigating

Dorothy married Brandon Yankowitz in a lavish wedding in Florence, Italy.

Beautiful location.

Beautiful fashion.

Beautiful everything.

But I'm over here acting like Detective Olivia Benson of reality television trying to figure out who was invited, who wasn't invited and who might have gotten that dreaded:

“Unfortunately, due to changes…”

message.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Because Dorothy has openly discussed the uncomfortable process of cutting people from her wedding guest list.

And once you tell reality-TV fans THAT?

Baby, we're going to start looking at everybody who wasn't sitting at those tables!

So What About Morgan Stewart?

Morgan and Dorothy weren't just two random women who happened to appear on the same reality show.

They had a real history.

Their friendship was a major part of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills.

That's why Morgan's connection to Dorothy's wedding has fans curious.

But here's where we need to be careful.

Someone not being prominently featured at a wedding does NOT automatically mean:

“THEY WERE DISINVITED!”

Maybe they couldn't attend.

Maybe the friendship changed.

Maybe they weren't invited.

Maybe they were invited but had another commitment.

Or maybe there is a story we simply haven't heard yet.

That's why I want Dorothy to TALK!

Girl, you cannot mention disinviting wedding guests and then expect us not to start investigating.

You opened this door!

πŸ˜‚

The Rich Kids Era Is OVER

Maybe the bigger story isn't about one invitation.

Maybe it's about how much everyone's life has changed.

Rich Kids of Beverly Hills premiered more than a decade ago.

Think about that.

People get married.

People have children.

People change careers.

People move.

People develop new friendships.

People lose old friendships.

Sometimes somebody who was your BEST friend at 25 isn't even in your phone at 35 or 40.

That's life.

And reality stars aren't exempt from it.

We as viewers sometimes freeze these people in whatever era we first met them.

We remember Dorothy, Morgan and EJ together and assume that friendship should still look exactly the same today.

But why would it?

Our own friendships don't work like that.

But I Still Want the Tea!

Now don't misunderstand me.

I'm trying to be mature about this.

I'm trying to understand that people grow apart.

But I'm ALSO NOSY.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I want the timeline!

When did everybody stop being close?

Was there an argument?

Did they simply drift apart?

Was Morgan originally on Dorothy's wedding guest list?

Did Morgan receive an invitation?

And was Morgan ever one of the people Dorothy considered removing?

Those are completely different questions.

And until Dorothy or Morgan confirms something, I'm not going to turn internet speculation into fact.

But I'm definitely asking questions.

Reality-TV Friendships Are Complicated

One thing I've learned after watching reality television for years is that a friendship can look completely different once the cameras stop rolling.

Two people can appear inseparable for three seasons and then barely speak afterward.

Why?

Because television creates unusual relationships.

You're traveling together.

Filming together.

Doing interviews together.

Attending events together.

Then the show ends.

Suddenly everybody goes back to their individual lives.

That's when you discover which relationships were truly built for the long haul.

Maybe that's what happened with Dorothy and some of the Rich Kids crew.

There doesn't necessarily have to be a villain.

Sometimes life just moves.

But Dorothy Saying “Disinvited” Changed Everything

This is where Dorothy accidentally made the story juicy.

The minute you say people were DISINVITED, we're no longer casually looking at wedding pictures.

We're counting chairs!

πŸ˜‚

“Who's that?”

“Was she invited?”

“Where's EJ?”

“Where's Morgan?”

“Who didn't make the final list?”

Baby, Dorothy turned her wedding guest list into a reality-TV mystery.

And I'm here for it.

Morgan Stewart Has Her Own Life Now

We also have to remember that Morgan Stewart's life today is very different from her Rich Kids days.

She has moved into another chapter

EJ Johnson Was Missing From Dorothy Wang’s Wedding — But Was EJ Actually Disinvited? πŸ‘€πŸ’☕

EJ Johnson Was Missing From Dorothy Wang’s Wedding — But Was EJ Actually Disinvited? πŸ‘€πŸ’☕

Baby, somebody pull up a chair because Dorothy Wang’s wedding guest list is becoming almost as interesting as the wedding itself!

If you’ve been watching Dorothy’s “I Do” and following all the conversations surrounding Dorothy Wang’s big wedding to Brandon Yankowitz, you may have noticed something.

Where was EJ Johnson?!

Yes, THAT EJ Johnson.

Dorothy and EJ go way back to the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills days, when fabulous outfits, expensive lunches, luxury vacations and Beverly Hills drama were basically part of the job description.

So when Dorothy got married and EJ wasn’t among the familiar faces celebrating with her, people naturally started asking questions.

And now that Dorothy has talked about disinviting people from her wedding, the gossip antennas are officially UP.

But before anybody starts putting EJ’s name on the “DISINVITED” list, we need to separate what we know from what we're assuming.

EJ Johnson Wasn't at the Wedding

From the information that has surfaced publicly, EJ Johnson does not appear to have attended Dorothy and Brandon’s Florence wedding.

Dorothy has also discussed the fact that her former Rich Kids of Beverly Hills castmates weren't at the wedding.

That includes EJ.

Now THAT is interesting.

Because if you watched Rich Kids, you already know Dorothy and EJ weren't two random reality stars who happened to film together.

They had history.

They traveled together.

They partied together.

They argued.

They made up.

They gave us friendship, fashion and enough Beverly Hills attitude to keep E! cameras working overtime.

So naturally, fans are wondering what happened.

But Was EJ Johnson Actually Disinvited?

Here is where we have to put down our gossip champagne for approximately 30 seconds.

There is currently a difference between “didn't attend” and “was disinvited.”

Those are NOT the same thing.

Dorothy has discussed removing people from her wedding guest list, but that doesn't automatically mean EJ was one of those people.

Unless Dorothy says:

“I invited EJ Johnson and then I took the invitation back,”

we shouldn't turn speculation into fact.

And baby, reality television fans know how quickly speculation becomes “FACT” on social media.

One person tweets:

“Was EJ disinvited?”

Twenty minutes later somebody posts:

“Dorothy DISINVITED EJ!”

By tomorrow somebody's auntie on Facebook is saying EJ got escorted out of Florence by Italian security.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

NO!

We don't have that information.

What we know is simple:

EJ wasn't there.

What we DON'T know:

Whether EJ was invited and declined, wasn't invited in the first place, or was actually one of the people removed from Dorothy’s guest list.

And THAT mystery is what makes this interesting.

What Happened to the Rich Kids Friendships?

This also raises a bigger question.

What happened between Dorothy and her old Rich Kids of Beverly Hills crew?

Reality television friendships are strange.

We watch people spend years together on television and assume those friendships will last forever.

But television is a job.

Sometimes people are genuinely friends.

Sometimes filming brings people closer.

Sometimes filming DESTROYS friendships.

And sometimes everybody simply grows up and moves in completely different directions.

Dorothy is no longer the same woman we first met on Rich Kids of Beverly Hills.

EJ has built a life and identity outside of that show.

Morgan Stewart moved into another chapter of her life.

Everybody grew up.

And sometimes growing up means realizing that the person who was sitting next to you at brunch ten years ago might not be sitting next to you at your wedding.

That's life.

But because Dorothy's wedding was such a major event, fans are naturally looking at who made the cut.

Because honey…

A wedding guest list tells STORIES.

The Guest List Is Giving Reality-TV Detective Work

This is what makes Dorothy’s “I Do” so entertaining to watch.

Yes, we want the dresses.

Yes, we want Florence.

Yes, we want the flowers.

Yes, we want romance.

But don't play with us.

WE WANT THE GUEST LIST TEA.

πŸ˜‚

Who's invited?

Who's sitting together?

Who's avoiding each other?

Who suddenly disappeared?

Who was invited six months ago but mysteriously isn't invited anymore?

And most importantly:

WHO GOT DISINVITED?!

Dorothy mentioning that people were removed from the wedding guest list was basically throwing a steak into a room full of hungry reality-TV fans.

Of course we're going to investigate!

Could EJ Simply Have Moved On?

There's another possibility that isn't nearly as dramatic but might be the truth.

Maybe Dorothy and EJ simply aren't close anymore.

No huge fight.

No screaming match.

No champagne thrown across Beverly Hills.

No dramatic unfollowing ceremony.

Sometimes friendships just fade.

You stop calling.

They stop calling.

Birthdays become Instagram likes.

Instagram likes become nothing.

Then suddenly five years have passed.

It happens.

Especially when friendships were formed during a particular period of your life.

Dorothy and EJ shared the Rich Kids chapter.

That doesn't necessarily mean they were destined to share every chapter afterward.

And honestly, that's okay.

But I Still Want Answers!

Listen.

I'm trying to be mature.

I'm trying to be reasonable.

I'm trying to respect that friendships change.

BUT I'M ALSO A REALITY-TV FAN.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

So yes, I want Dorothy to explain what happened.

Were she and EJ still friends when the wedding planning started?

Was EJ originally invited?

Did something happen?

Did EJ decline?

Was there already distance between them?

And most importantly…

Was EJ Johnson one of the people Dorothy disinvited?

Because THAT is the question.

Until Dorothy confirms it, I'm not putting EJ's name on the disinvited list.

But I am absolutely keeping my eye on this story.

πŸ‘€

My Take

EJ Johnson's absence is noticeable because of the history between EJ and Dorothy.

These weren't two people who met last Tuesday.

Fans watched their friendship years ago.

That's why people care.

But absence doesn't automatically equal drama.

Maybe they drifted apart.

Maybe there was an invitation situation.

Maybe there wasn't.

Maybe something happened privately that neither person feels like discussing publicly.

Or maybe we're going to find out exactly what happened

Dorothy Wang Said “I Do… Disinvite You!” — Wedding Bells, Friendship Drama & a Guest List Getting CUT!

Dorothy Wang Said “I Do… Disinvite You!” — Wedding Bells, Friendship Drama & a Guest List Getting CUT!

Dorothy Wang is getting ready to say “I do,” but apparently somebody else just heard “you don’t!”

Baby, this episode had everything I want from a wedding series: beautiful locations, expensive-looking clothes, friendship tension, family moments, travel, glamour, stress—and somebody potentially getting their invitation snatched back.

The episode “I Do… Disinvite You” follows Dorothy through the final stretch before her wedding to Brandon. We go from a bachelorette getaway in Turks and Caicos to Brandon’s bachelor festivities in Las Vegas, wedding preparations in Los Angeles, marriage-license business in Queens, and even a couture fitting in Paris.

That itinerary alone wore me out.

Dorothy is planning a wedding like she’s coordinating an international summit.

But forget the dresses for one minute.

Forget Paris.

Forget the wedding bands.

Forget the bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Because once I heard that somebody was getting DISINVITED, I sat up.

Excuse me?

You mean somebody thought they were going to this wedding, probably already had their outfit planned, and Dorothy said:

“Actually… stay home.”

Chile!

Grab your champagne—or your coffee if you’re reading this in the morning—because we need to discuss this mess.

FIRST STOP: TURKS AND CAICOS, BECAUSE APPARENTLY WE DON’T DO BASIC

Dorothy heads to Turks and Caicos with friends for her bachelorette celebration.

Now THAT is how you start a wedding episode.

Some people have a bachelorette party at the neighborhood bar.

Dorothy said, “Where is my passport?”

πŸ˜‚

And listen, if you have the coins to do it, why not?

The whole purpose is supposed to be Dorothy relaxing, enjoying herself and spending time with people she loves before the wedding madness really kicks into high gear.

But whenever you put friends, travel, alcohol, wedding emotions and cameras together, I immediately start looking around.

Because somebody is eventually going to say something.

Somebody is going to feel excluded.

Somebody is going to give somebody a look.

And somebody will later claim:

“I wasn't trying to be shady.”

Yes, you were.

πŸ˜‚

What I like about this portion of Dorothy's journey is that underneath all the luxury, she seems to understand that a wedding isn't just about flowers and dresses.

It's about relationships.

Who has really been there for you?

Who genuinely supports you?

Who deserves to be in the room when you begin the next chapter of your life?

And most importantly:

Who needs to stay home?

Oh, we're getting there.

BRANDON’S BACHELOR PARTY GETS A SURPRISE GUEST

Then Brandon has his bachelor festivities in Las Vegas.

Okay.

Vegas.

Bachelor party.

We know the formula.

What happens in Vegas stays—

WAIT.

Why are Dorothy and her mother Vivine involved?!

😭😭😭

Baby!

Imagine telling your boys:

“Come to Vegas for my bachelor party.”

They arrive ready for a weekend of foolishness.

Then somebody says:

“Dorothy is coming.”

Okay…

Then:

“Her mother is here too.”

SIR?!

πŸ˜‚

At that point, this is no longer a bachelor party. This is a family retreat with gambling nearby.

But you know what? I actually found the whole situation funny and kind of charming.

Dorothy and Brandon clearly aren't following somebody else's rulebook about what a bride and groom are “supposed” to do.

If it works for them, it works.

And that may actually be one of the biggest themes running through this whole series.

Dorothy is going to do Dorothy.

You don't have to understand it.

You don't have to approve it.

And apparently, if you irritate her enough, you don't even have to attend the wedding.

NEXT!

πŸ˜‚

BACK TO LOS ANGELES: GLAM DOESN’T CREATE ITSELF

After the partying comes the work.

Dorothy returns to Los Angeles for wedding preparations, including bridal hair and makeup trials.

And I love this part of wedding planning because this is when the fantasy starts becoming real.

The bride is looking at the hair.

Looking at the makeup.

Looking at everything together.

And you know Dorothy wasn't going to walk into her wedding looking like she just left Target.

This woman wants a MOMENT.

She wants glamour.

She wants photographs.

She wants the kind of wedding look where people see the pictures five years later and say:

“Okay Dorothy!”

And why shouldn't she?

You're spending all this money. You better look GOOD.

But wedding preparation also exposes just how many decisions go into one day.

Hair.

Makeup.

Dress.

Jewelry.

Flowers.

Food.

Venue.

Guest list.

Seating.

Music.

And apparently—

Friendship termination paperwork.

πŸ˜‚

THE WEDDING BANDS COME OUT

Dorothy and Brandon also meet with a jeweler concerning their wedding bands.

Now we're getting serious.

A dress is beautiful.

A party is fun.

But those rings represent what this whole giant production is actually supposed to be about.

Marriage.

Two people choosing each other.

And I appreciated getting these moments because without them, a wedding show can easily become one long advertisement for expensive dresses and luxury vacations.

I want the fashion.

I want the trips.

I want the gossip.

But give me some LOVE too!

Because if I watch 32 minutes of wedding content and come away knowing more about the reception dress than the relationship, Houston, we have a problem.

Fortunately, Dorothy and Brandon's journey keeps bringing us back to the fact that there is an actual marriage at the center of all this.

QUEENS COURTHOUSE: NOW IT’S GETTING REAL

Then Dorothy and Brandon visit a courthouse in Queens to secure their marriage license.

Okay!

Now we have paperwork.

You can play around with cake flavors all day long, but when you're standing there dealing with legal documents, suddenly it becomes:

Oh. We're REALLY doing this.

And I liked seeing that.

Because weddings can become so focused on the spectacle that people forget the legal and emotional commitment.

The reception lasts hours.

The marriage is supposed to last much longer.

Hopefully.

Because y'all know I review reality television.

I've seen people spend enough money on a wedding to purchase a small apartment and then be arguing before the cake gets stale.

πŸ˜‚

So I'm rooting for Dorothy and Brandon.

Get that license.

Get those rings.

Get married.

Be happy.

And don't let the television cameras have you arguing about who left a towel on the bathroom floor six months later.

AND THEN THE EPISODE TURNED INTO “WHO’S GETTING CUT?”

Now let's get into why we're REALLY here.

According to the episode summary shown, after a negative experience at a recent dinner, Dorothy begins reflecting on one of her longtime relationships.

She questions the authenticity of the connection and considers the ongoing tension.

And ultimately?

The wedding invitation is no more.

BABY!

That's when the wedding train pulled into Messy Station.

Because there is something especially dramatic about being disinvited from a wedding.

Not simply “I didn't invite you.”

That's one thing.

But DISINVITED?

That means at one point you made the cut.

You were IN.

You could have been thinking about your outfit.

You could have been deciding what gift to buy.

You might have been checking hotel prices.

You may have already told somebody:

“I'm going to Dorothy's wedding.”

Then the phone rings.

“Hey…”

Oh Lord.

Any conversation that begins with a slow “Hey…” during wedding season is dangerous.

πŸ˜‚

BUT WAS DOROTHY WRONG?

This is where I might surprise some people.

I don't necessarily think she was.

Your wedding is not a public event.

Nobody is entitled to attend simply because you've known them for a long time.

History doesn't automatically equal healthy.

That's a word right there.

You can know somebody for 15 years and realize in year 16 that the relationship isn't what you thought it was.

People grow apart.

People change.

Sometimes YOU change.

And sometimes you finally notice behavior you spent years overlooking.

A wedding can magnify those feelings because you're asking yourself:

Who do I want around me during one of the biggest moments of my life?

That's a fair question.

If Dorothy genuinely believed this relationship had become tense, uncomfortable or inauthentic, then why spend the entire wedding wondering what that person is thinking?

Why pay $300—or whatever these luxury weddings cost PER PLATE—for somebody you don't even want there?

Baby, if I don't trust your energy, I'm not buying you lobster.

πŸ˜‚

Go get a sandwich.

HOWEVER…

You knew there was going to be a “however.”

Because this is a gossip blog.

πŸ˜‚

The timing is MESSY.

There is no graceful way to tell somebody:

“Remember that wedding invitation? Give it back.”

You can wrap it in kindness.

You can explain your feelings.

You can say you've been doing some reflection.

You can talk about protecting your peace.

You can burn sage during the conversation.

It's STILL messy.

Because the other person may feel humiliated.

They may think:

“Why invite me in the first place?”

And THAT is where I think the conversation gets interesting.

Was this friendship already showing cracks before the wedding?

Were there warning signs?

Was that dinner simply the final straw?

Or does the pressure of planning a wedding make every little friendship issue feel 100 times bigger?

Those are the questions I want answered.

Because weddings will test relationships that aren't even getting married!

PARIS, DARLING!

After all that emotional drama, Dorothy heads to Paris for the final couture fitting for her reception dress.

Because of course she does.

πŸ˜‚

Most people have friendship drama and go home to eat ice cream.

Dorothy has friendship drama and flies to PARIS.

That's the lifestyle difference right there.

Me:

“I had a stressful day. I'm ordering Chinese food.”

Dorothy:

“I've been under tremendous emotional pressure. Ezra, we're going to France.”

😭

But visually and narratively, I love that contrast.

One minute we're discussing whether somebody deserves a seat at the wedding.

The next minute:

COUTURE!

And that's exactly why this kind of series works for me.

You need both.

Give me fantasy AND reality.

Give me the dress AND the drama.

Give me Paris AND pettiness.

Give me romance AND a revoked invitation.

DOROTHY IS THE STAR OF HER OWN WEDDING MOVIE

What I'm enjoying about watching Dorothy's wedding journey is that she doesn't seem interested in pretending everything is perfect.

That's important.

Social media has turned weddings into these polished productions where everybody looks happy, every friendship appears perfect and the bride is supposedly floating through life wearing silk pajamas and drinking champagne.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes somebody's crying in the bathroom because Aunt Linda refuses to sit next to Cousin Denise.

πŸ˜‚

Real weddings are stressful.

Family dynamics get weird.

Friendships get tested.

Money gets spent.

People get offended.

And suddenly you're negotiating international diplomacy over a seating chart.

Dorothy showing some of those complications makes the series more entertaining.

Because I'm sorry:

If everybody gets along for 32 minutes, what am I supposed to review?

The flowers?

πŸ˜‚

MY VERDICT: THE MESS IS FINALLY MESSING

This episode gave me more of what I wanted.

We got travel.

We got luxury.

We got family.

We got Brandon.

We got wedding planning.

We got Paris.

We got couture.

And most importantly for my messy reality-TV-loving spirit:

WE GOT CONFLICT.

Not manufactured screaming.

Not somebody flipping a table because production told them they needed a dramatic ending.

But the kind of interpersonal drama that actually happens in real life.

A friendship changes.

Somebody questions whether the relationship is genuine.

Boundaries are drawn.

And somebody gets removed from the guest list.

That's compelling because viewers can relate to it.

Maybe you've never flown to Paris for a couture wedding fitting.

I certainly haven't.

πŸ˜‚

But almost everybody knows what it's like to realize a friendship isn't working anymore.

That's universal.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Dorothy Wang's “I Do… Disinvite You” isn't simply about somebody losing a wedding invitation.

It's really about Dorothy deciding what—and who—she wants around her as she enters a new stage of life.

And THAT is bigger than a guest list.

Sometimes moving forward requires examining the people coming with you.

Some friendships survive.

Some relationships become stronger.

Some naturally fade away.

And others?

Well…

They get disinvited.

πŸ’€

And apparently Dorothy is not afraid to make that call.

Now, Dorothy, I'm going to need you to keep these episodes coming because I'm invested.

I want to see the wedding.

I want to see the final looks.

I want to see Brandon.

I want to see Mama Vivine.

I want to see who actually makes it into the building.

And, yes, I want to know whether there are any MORE invitations about to disappear.

Because at this point, if I were on Dorothy's guest list, I'd be checking my email every morning.

“Am I still invited?”

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

LET’S TALK!

Now I want to hear from YOU.

Was Dorothy right to disinvite someone after questioning the friendship, or should she have waited until after the wedding to deal with the drama?

Would YOU ever disinvite a longtime friend from your wedding?

And here's the real messy question:

If somebody disinvited YOU from their wedding, would the friendship be officially OVER?

I Want 1,000 YouTube Subscribers — And I'm Starting With Just My Phone

I Want 1,000 YouTube Subscribers — And I'm Starting With Just My Phone

I have a goal: I want 1,000 YouTube subscribers.

But I'm not trying to turn this into something complicated.

I don't have to buy a $2,000 camera. I don't need a professional studio. I don't need ten people working behind the scenes.

I have a phone, ideas, opinions, and something to say.

And that's where I'm starting.

My Phone Is My Camera

One thing that can stop creators before they even begin is thinking they need expensive equipment.

I'm keeping it simple.

I'm going to use my phone.

Find a quiet place. Clean the camera lens. Sit near a window or somewhere with good lighting. Put the phone somewhere steady.

Hit record.

That's it.

The most important thing is giving people something worth watching.

How Long Should My YouTube Videos Be?

I'm going to start by aiming for around 8 to 15 minutes for many of my regular videos.

If I have a bigger topic, I can make a 20-minute video.

If I'm doing a big reality-TV recap or discussion, maybe it's 30 minutes.

And if I go live, I could talk for an hour if people are watching and participating.

But I'm learning something important:

Longer doesn't automatically mean better.

If I only have five interesting minutes of material, I'd rather make a good five-minute video than spend 25 minutes repeating myself.

The goal is to keep people watching.

What Am I Going to Talk About?

This part should actually be easy because I already have interests.

I love talking about reality television, entertainment, celebrities, music, fashion and pop culture.

That's content!

I could turn on my phone and say:

“Okay, did anybody else see that episode last night? Because we need to TALK!”

There's my video.

I can review an episode.

I can give my opinion about a reality star.

I can discuss something happening in entertainment.

I can talk about an old-school R&B singer or album.

I can tell a personal story.

I can make a Top 5 list.

I can even make a video called “5 Reality Shows I'm Watching Right Now.”

Not every video needs to be a Hollywood production.

Sometimes people just want an interesting person with an interesting opinion.

How Am I Going to Get 1,000 Subscribers?

I'm not going to sit around waiting for 1,000 people to magically appear.

I'm going to work toward them one subscriber at a time.

If somebody enjoys one of my videos, I want to remind them:

“If you enjoyed this conversation, subscribe because I'm talking reality TV and entertainment every week.”

That gives them a reason to subscribe.

I also need to give people a reason to return.

That's why I'm thinking about a simple schedule.

Monday: Reality-TV review

Wednesday: Entertainment or celebrity discussion

Friday: Reality TV, music or pop-culture video

Weekend: Optional livestream or weekly recap

That's manageable.

Three strong videos every week is better for me than uploading ten rushed videos that nobody finishes watching.

Shorts Can Help Me Find New People

I'm not forgetting about YouTube Shorts.

I can take one interesting thought and make a quick Short.

For example:

“I have one question about last night's episode…”

Then I give my opinion.

At the end, I can tell people that my full review is on my channel.

Now the Short has a job.

It's not just another random upload.

It's helping people discover my longer content.

I'm Going to Stop Chasing Perfection

This may be the biggest lesson.

I don't need every video to be perfect.

Some videos might get 20 views.

Another might get 75.

One might suddenly get 500.

And eventually, one could get thousands.

I won't know until I post.

Instead of asking myself:

“Is this video perfect?”

I'm going to ask:

“Would I watch this?”

If the answer is yes, I'm posting it.

My 1,000 Subscriber Challenge

I'm giving myself a simple challenge.

Post consistently.

Talk about subjects I actually enjoy.

Make better titles.

Create thumbnails people can understand.

Keep my videos interesting.

Ask viewers questions.

Reply to comments.

And tell viewers to subscribe.

I'm not trying to become MrBeast overnight.

I'm trying to build my audience.

Ten subscribers become 20.

Twenty become 50.

Fifty become 100.

Then 250.

Then 500.

And eventually:

1,000 subscribers.

I'm doing it with the equipment I already have.

My phone. My voice. My personality. My opinions.

That's enough to start.

Your Turn

Are you trying to reach 1,000 YouTube subscribers too?

What is stopping you from posting?

Drop your answer in the comments.

And if you're already growing a channel, share one thing that helped you get more subscribers.

The road to 1,000 starts with pressing RECORD.

Law Roach Is THAT Girl of the Social Media Streets — And the Internet Can’t Stop Watching

Law Roach Is THAT Girl of the Social Media Streets — And the Internet Can’t Stop Watching

Baby, if you’ve been anywhere near the social media

streets lately, you already know one thing: Law Roach stays in the conversation.

Fashion? Law.

Celebrity styling? Law.

YouTube? Law.

A little controversy? Oh, Law might be somewhere nearby too. πŸ˜‚

At this point, Law Roach isn’t just a stylist. He has become a full-blown social media personality, and I’m here for it.

Law Knows How to Keep People Talking

What I find interesting about Law is that he doesn’t need to style 500 celebrities at the same time to prove himself.

Some people seem to think being successful means having a gigantic client list.

I disagree.

If you have the right clients, build memorable fashion moments and create relationships where people keep coming back to you, that speaks louder than numbers.

And Law has certainly created some unforgettable moments.

But now we’re seeing another side of him.

He can sit in front of a camera, talk fashion, tell stories, give opinions and suddenly you’ve been watching for 20 minutes.

That’s a skill.

Because, honey, everybody with a camera does NOT need a YouTube channel. πŸ˜‚

Some people turn that camera on and five minutes feels like three business days.

Law understands entertainment.

He’s Become the Fashion Girlfriend We Didn't Know We Needed

When I say Law Roach is “that girl,” I’m talking about the ENERGY.

He can give fashion expert.

He can give celebrity insider.

He can give your fashionable friend sitting across the table saying:

“Now you know you shouldn’t have worn that.”

And that personality translates perfectly to social media.

Fashion can sometimes feel extremely serious. Everybody is analyzing fabrics, designers, silhouettes and runway collections.

Meanwhile, Law can make the conversation feel like we’re sitting around talking about who wore what and why it worked—or why somebody should have left that outfit hanging right there on the rack.

That’s what makes his content entertaining.

The Social Media Streets Love an Opinion

Social media rewards personalities who give people something to discuss.

You don't always have to agree with Law.

Actually, disagreement can make the conversation even more entertaining.

That's the whole point!

I can watch somebody and say, “Law, I love you, but I don't know about THAT one.”

Then somebody else can completely agree with him.

Next thing you know, everybody is debating fashion.

That's engagement.

That's conversation.

And that's how you stay relevant in today's entertainment world.

From Celebrity Stylist to His Own Celebrity

This may be the most interesting part of Law Roach's evolution.

There was a time when the celebrity was supposed to be the star and the stylist remained behind the scenes.

Those days are OVER.

Law has built enough name recognition that people are interested in Law Roach himself.

We want the commentary.

We want the fashion opinions.

We want the stories.

We want to know what he thinks somebody should have worn.

And yes, we want a little tea too. ☕πŸ˜‚

Law doesn't necessarily need a celebrity standing next to him anymore.

Law IS the content.

That is a major accomplishment.

And Baby, He Understands Branding

One thing content creators can learn from Law is the importance of having a recognizable personality.

There are millions of people posting videos every day.

Why should somebody stop scrolling for YOU?

Law has an answer.

You know what you're getting.

Fashion.

Personality.

Confidence.

Experience.

Opinion.

And a little fabulousness sprinkled over everything.

That's branding.

You can love him, disagree with him, debate him or roll your eyes at something he says—but you're still talking about him.

And in these social media streets?

Conversation is currency.

Law Roach Is THAT Girl

So yes, I'm saying it.

Law Roach is THAT girl of the social media streets right now.

He took his knowledge from behind the scenes and turned it into content people actually want to watch.

That's smart.

The fashion industry changes.

Celebrity relationships change.

Social media platforms change.

But personality travels.

And Law Roach has enough personality to fill up the runway, the front row AND the comment section.

Chile, pull up a chair because I don't think Law is finished talking anytime soon.

And I'm listening.

Now I Want to Hear From YOU

Are you watching Law Roach on social media and YouTube?

Do you think he's becoming just as entertaining as the celebrities he styles?

And most importantly:

Is Law Roach THAT GIRL of the social media streets—or are y'all telling him to log off? πŸ˜‚

Drop your opinion in the comments.

Because around here, we don't just watch the mess—we discuss it!

Love & Marriage: Huntsville Season 12 Episode 4 — The Past Just Pulled Up With Receipts, Chile!

Love & Marriage: Huntsville Season 12 Episode 4 — The Past Just Pulled Up With Receipts, Chile!

Baby, somebody lock the doors, hide the group chats, delete the old text messages and tell everybody in Huntsville to stop answering questions!

Because Love & Marriage: Huntsville Season 12, Episode 4, “What’s in the Past Is Present,” is already sounding like one of those episodes where everybody’s old business gets dragged right back into the living room.

And you know what?

That title tells us EVERYTHING.

“What’s in the Past Is Present.”

Translation: Whatever you thought was buried apparently wasn't buried deep enough.

Chile!

Season 12 has been slowly putting all the ingredients into the pot. Now Episode 4 looks ready to turn the heat all the way up.

We’ve got Destiny.

We’ve got Arionne.

We’ve got Martell.

We’ve got Tisha.

We’ve got Marsau.

We’ve got Sylvia.

And somewhere in Huntsville, somebody probably wishes everybody would simply mind their own business.

Unfortunately, they signed up for reality television.

So grab your drink, get comfortable and let’s talk about the mess that appears to be headed our way.

DESTINY VS. ARIONNE: SOMEBODY CALL SECURITY BEFORE THE PARTY EVEN STARTS

Let’s begin with what might become the biggest storyline of the episode: Destiny and Arionne.

The Fletchers apparently see a major showdown coming between these two women.

And my question is:

Does anybody NOT see it coming?

Because Stevie Wonder could see this tension from three counties away.

Arionne has already questioned Martell about his relationship and friendship with Destiny.

Now that Arionne is actually appearing on camera this season, the dynamic is completely different.

For years, Arionne was talked ABOUT.

Now she can talk BACK.

That changes everything.

People have had opinions about her.

People have discussed her relationship with Martell.

People have dissected her choices.

But now she has a seat at the table.

And chile, she did not come to Huntsville carrying a folding chair.

She came ready to sit at the MAIN TABLE.

The problem?

Destiny isn't exactly known for backing away from confrontation either.

So you've got two women with history, opinions and questions surrounding the same man.

What could possibly go wrong?

EVERYTHING.

AND MARTELL IS RIGHT THERE IN THE MIDDLE

Martell Holt somehow continues to find himself standing in the center of hurricanes that allegedly have nothing to do with him.

Sir.

HOW?

At some point, Martell needs to stop acting surprised when two roads he helped build eventually meet at the same intersection.

Arionne has questions about Destiny.

Destiny has her own relationship and history with Martell.

And Martell seems to want everybody to coexist peacefully.

Baby, this isn't a church picnic.

You cannot invite everybody carrying unresolved feelings into the same social circle and then act shocked when somebody starts asking questions.

This man wants peace while standing in the middle of the battlefield holding the matches.

Make it make sense!

And according to the official Episode 4 description, Martell is going to be blindsided by a betrayal.

Betrayal?!

Oh, OWN knew exactly what they were doing putting THAT word in the description.

Because now I'm sitting here wondering:

WHO betrayed Martell?

Was it a friend?

Was it somebody he trusted?

Was something said behind his back?

Did somebody reveal something he thought was private?

Baby, the word “betrayal” on reality television can mean anything from somebody exposing your business to somebody not inviting you to brunch.

So I'm keeping my eyes OPEN.

TISHA SAID SHE IS STANDING ON BUSINESS

Then we have LaTisha Scott apparently doubling down on some salacious allegations.

TISHA!

Ma’am!

Sometimes when somebody asks whether you really meant what you said, the safe answer is:

“I was emotional.”

But Tisha apparently said:

Did I stutter?

Okay!

One thing about Love & Marriage: Huntsville is that rumors never die.

They simply take vacations.

A rumor will disappear for three seasons, go to Miami, get a tan, change its hairstyle and return during Season 12 looking refreshed.

And now Tisha is reportedly doubling down.

That tells me this isn't going away quietly.

Once you repeat something on camera, now everybody wants answers.

Who told you?

When did you hear it?

Where are the receipts?

Why are you bringing it up now?

And most importantly:

Is it TRUE?

That is where reality television gets dangerous.

Because somebody can start with “I heard…”

And fifteen minutes later, we've got three confessionals, two flashbacks, a dinner argument and somebody storming out saying, “I'm DONE!”

SYLVIA AND MARSAU'S HISTORY ENTERS THE CHAT

Then there's Sylvia worrying about her history with Marsau.

Oh?

HISTORY?

Baby, whenever a reality show uses the word “history,” my eyebrow automatically goes up.

What kind of history?

Business history?

Friendship history?

Social history?

Something misunderstood?

Something everybody already knew?

Something nobody was supposed to mention?

Because those are VERY different types of history.

And before anybody starts writing a whole Lifetime movie in their head, we need to remember that concern or speculation isn't proof of anything.

But this is Love & Marriage: Huntsville.

If there is an unanswered question, somebody is going to ask it.

And if nobody asks it?

Production will probably find somebody who will.

Marsau has spent YEARS dealing with rumors and questions surrounding his marriage.

At this point, I don't know how Tisha doesn't wake up every morning asking:

“Okay, what are the internet streets saying TODAY?”

Their marriage has practically earned its own rumor department.

But what makes this storyline interesting is Tisha apparently doubling down while Sylvia herself is worried about her history with Marsau becoming an issue.

Those two pieces together?

Chile.

Episode 4 might have us rewinding scenes.

TISHA AND MARSAU HAVE ENOUGH GOING ON ALREADY

And let's not forget Marsau and Tisha came into Season 12 dealing with BUSINESS problems too.

Their first residential investment property has become a major storyline after things went sideways.

So you're telling me this couple is trying to deal with business trouble AND old allegations at the same time?

Where is the vacation episode?

Somebody send these people to Jamaica.

Actually, don't.

Because knowing this cast, somebody would argue before they even got through TSA.

“Why did you sit next to her on the plane?”

“I didn't choose the seat!”

“Well, why didn't you MOVE?”

Chile, never mind.

Stay in Huntsville.

ARIONNE ISN'T A GHOST ANYMORE

One of the biggest changes this season is Arionne actually being on camera.

That cannot be understated.

Her presence changes the entire show.

For years, viewers knew the name.

Other cast members talked about her.

Fans debated her.

Relationships were discussed around her.

But she wasn't physically participating in the group scenes.

Season 12 changes that.

Now when somebody says something about Arionne, there is a possibility that Arionne might be standing across the room ready to respond.

THAT is a completely different reality television environment.

You can't just tell your version anymore.

The other person has a microphone too.

And I think that's exactly why this Destiny situation has so much potential.

Arionne clearly has feelings about Destiny being connected to Martell.

Whether viewers agree with those feelings or not, she has them.

And Destiny isn't going to suddenly disappear because Arionne doesn't like the relationship.

So what does Martell do?

That is the million-dollar question.

MARTELL, PICK A LANE!

If your woman tells you she doesn't trust another woman around you, you've got a decision to make.

You can establish boundaries.

You can reassure your partner.

You can explain the friendship.

Or you can continue doing whatever you're doing until everybody ends up arguing at an event.

Guess which option reality television usually chooses?

Exactly.

The event.

There will always be an event.

An art show.

A brunch.

A dinner.

A birthday party.

A business opening.

A wine tasting.

Something!

Reality television people will know two cast members cannot stand each other and STILL say:

“You know what would bring everybody together? BRUNCH!”

NO!

It won't!

But please keep doing it because I need something to watch Saturday night.

DESTINY ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE QUIETLY

And let's discuss Destiny.

Destiny has had her share of ups, downs, friendships and fallouts on this show.

She understands how this game works.

So I don't expect Destiny to simply smile politely while somebody questions her relationship with Martell.

Especially if she feels like her friendship is being misrepresented.

That's where the real showdown could happen.

Arionne may look at the situation from the perspective of Martell's partner.

Destiny may look at it as:

“This is my friend, and I'm not changing my friendship because YOU have a problem.”

And there it is.

THE MESS.

Because both people can feel justified.

That's what makes a good reality TV conflict.

The best arguments aren't always hero versus villain.

Sometimes it's two people operating from completely different perspectives who both believe they're right.

Add Martell in the middle?

Baby, pass the popcorn.

THE FLETCHERS ALREADY KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS

The Fletchers apparently foresee the Destiny-Arionne collision.

Translation:

Everybody sees the train coming.

Nobody is getting off the tracks.

And we're all waiting for impact.

This is what cracks me up about these friend groups.

They'll say:

“I really hope they don't argue.”

Then invite both women to the same event.

Sit them four feet apart.

Serve alcohol.

Bring up the exact subject they're fighting about.

Then act shocked.

“Oh my God! Why are they arguing?!”

BECAUSE YOU PUT THEM AT THE SAME TABLE, NELL!

Allegedly!

LOL.

EVERYBODY IN HUNTSVILLE NEEDS A RECEIPT FOLDER

At this point, every cast member needs a folder on their phone called:

IN CASE OF REUNION.

Screenshots.

Text messages.

Dates.

Times.

Voice notes.

Contracts.

DMs.

Because nobody remembers anything the same way once the cameras start rolling.

One person says:

“That never happened.”

Then production flashes back to Season 7, Episode 12.

OUCH.

That is the beauty of being on television for years.

Your past has VIDEO EVIDENCE.

You can't rewrite history when production has the footage sitting on a hard drive.

And that's why the title “What's in the Past Is Present” feels perfect.

The past is NEVER really past on Love & Marriage: Huntsville.

THIS SEASON FEELS DIFFERENT

Season 12 feels like the show is attempting to shake up the dynamics.

Arionne being on camera alone changes things.

Old relationships are being revisited.

New alliances are forming.

Business struggles are becoming part of the conversation.

And people who once existed outside the main storyline are moving directly into it.

That's exactly what a long-running reality show needs.

You cannot tell the same story forever.

At some point, somebody new has to walk through the door.

And Arionne didn't just walk through the door.

She walked into YEARS of unfinished business.

BUT PLEASE DON'T LET THIS BECOME THE MARTELL SHOW

Here's my one concern.

Love & Marriage: Huntsville has a big ensemble cast.

So while the Martell-Arionne-Destiny storyline is juicy, I don't want every single episode revolving around Martell's relationships.

Give me everybody's mess!

I want business.

Marriage.

Friendships.

Family.

Money.

Rumors.

Reconciliation.

Fallouts.

Comebacks.

And somebody opening a business that will probably cause an argument at the grand opening.

Give me HUNTSVILLE.

Because this cast works best when multiple storylines collide.

MY PRE-SHOW VERDICT

Based on everything being teased for Episode 4, I'm watching.

Absolutely.

Destiny versus Arionne?

Watching.

Tisha doubling down?

Watching.

Sylvia worrying about her Marsau history?

Watching.

Martell supposedly getting blindsided by betrayal?

Baby, I'm already sitting down.

The question is whether Episode 4 actually delivers the fireworks being teased.

Because you know these previews will have us thinking somebody flipped a table, and then the actual scene is:

“Did you say that?”

“Yes.”

“Okay.”

COMMERCIAL.

Don't play with me, OWN!

I need the MESS.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Love & Marriage: Huntsville has reached the point where the history between these people is almost another cast member.

Old friendships matter.

Old relationships matter.

Old rumors matter.

Old business deals matter.

And things people said YEARS ago can suddenly become relevant again.

That's what makes Episode 4's title so appropriate.

What's in the past really is present.

And apparently, the past came dressed up, mic'd up and ready to film.

The Destiny-Arionne tension feels like it's only beginning.

Tisha doesn't appear ready to retract anything.

Sylvia has questions surrounding her own history.

Marsau's name is once again floating through a storyline.

And Martell?

Martell better put on his seatbelt because apparently betrayal is headed directly toward him.

Chile, Huntsville isn't giving peace.

It's giving:

“Previously on Love & Marriage: Huntsville…”

And somehow that “previously” goes back about six years!

REALITY RUNDOWN QUESTION OF THE DAY

Now I want to hear from YOU.

Who do you think is right in the Destiny and Arionne situation?

Should Martell put stronger boundaries around his friendship with Destiny?

Do you think Arionne has a reason to be suspicious?

What do you think about Tisha doubling down?

And WHO do you think betrays Martell?

Drop your opinion in the comments because I already know the Huntsville fans are going to have something to SAY.

And please keep it cute.

Well…

As cute as we can keep it while discussing Love & Marriage: Huntsville.
